Haulotte drops 61%

Haulotte, the French based aerial lift manufacturer has announced first quarter revenues of €49.8 million, down 61 percent down on the same period last year.

The revenue split was €35 million in new equipment sales, down 68 percent on last year, €6.85 in rental, down 10 percent on 2008, due mainly to the weakness of Sterling leading to UK Platforms revenues translating to fewer Euros while parts and service revenues were relatively flat at €8.2 million.

Geographically Asia and South America were the only tow risers up 35 and 40 percent respectively, while the USA was the worst dipping by 80 percent.
