Sunny Intermat struggles to attract visitors

Despite the glorious sunny weather, Intermat struggled to attract significant numbers of visitors on Monday and Tuesday, however numbers increased as the week progressed and by Wednesday - at least in the cranes area - there was a real 'show buzz' to the event and Saturday was probably the busiest Intermat weekend day for at least six years.

In spite of the slow start the show was far better than expected in terms of exhibits, with many interesting and new products on show.

Deals were being done (admitedly in much smaller numbers) - with some manufacturers and customers even quietly confident. However the mood amongst some of the major full line access manufacturers was less optimistic.

The following is a continuation of up our ‘pre intermat’ pictorial coverage with more new and interesting products.
