ALLMI introduces new Guidance Notes

The Association of Lorry Loader Manufacturers & Importers (ALLMI) in the UK has produced a series of Guidance Notes for the purchasers and operators of lorry loader cranes. Issues covered by the Guidance Notes, which have been spread out across nine leaflets, include ‘Guidance for Life Expectancy of a Lorry Loader’, ‘Guidance for the Purchase of Second Hand Lorry Loaders’, ‘Guidance for Lorry Loader Installers and Operators’, ‘Guidance Note for Hiring of a Lorry Loader’, ‘Guidance to Lorry Loader Purchase’, ‘Bridge Bashing Regulation’ and ‘Trailer-mounted Loader Cranes’. The Guidance Notes also provide a complete listing of the relevant regulations of which users should be aware.

The Notes have been designed to compliment the ALLMI Code of Practice and are available any ALLMI itself or through any of it members throughout the UK.
