Patrik Nolåker

Nolåker is currently president of Atlas Copco’s underground Rock Excavation Division, a job he has held since 2006. He joined the group in 2001 as president of its Geotechnical Drilling and Exploration Equipment division. Prior to his time at Atlas Copco he spent 13 years with ABB.

Arvidson who also hails from ABB, joined what was then Intervect back in 2003 and has presided over significant changes in the business, including a complete rebranding excercise in 2005 and a change of ownership in 2006.

Magnus Lindquist, chairman of the Alimak Hek Group said: “Petter Arvidson has successfully developed Alimak Hek to a profitable global market leader and he will remain on the board of directors. We expect Patrik Nolåker, with his very strong track record, to take Alimak Hek to new levels of profitable growth in the future together with all the employees”.

Nolåker talking of his decision to accept the position with Alimak said: “For over 20 years I have been working in two great large companies. What I like with Alimak Hek is the opportunity to work in a smaller group and with that influence all aspects of its business. Even if it is a smaller group it has complex products and services in an international environment – an environment I’m used to.”

“Last but not least, the company is in better shape than many others in the current crisis. This is important and provides potential to expand the Group to new levels in the future”.
