Rapid Platforms adds first Multitel MX225 in UK

Rapid Platforms is the latest company to order the new Multitel MX225 from Access Industries that was launched at Vertikal Days in June.

“This takes the total number of MX225 platforms sold since its initial launch at Intermat at the end of April to 55 units,” said Melvyn Else of Access Industries. “Just less than two thirds of these orders have already been delivered.”

Rapid Platform's new MX225

Rapid Platforms says that the straight line jacking and 10 metres of working outreach as a real asset for inner city working on a self drive basis. The Rapid Platform’s machine will be mounted on a Renault Maxity and will be available from the company’s Bishop’s Stortford depot in October.

“This is the first order in the UK for the MX225 but we have had lots of positive interest since Vertikal Days,” said Else. “It has a number of features not normally seen on a 3.5 tonne chassis unit one of which is a 90 degree cage rotation.”
