Panther Luton retain’s TechX accreditation

Panther’s Luton depot has become the first Lavendon location to retain accreditation to the group’s TechX (Technical Excellence) programme. One year on from being the first depot to attain the accreditation.

TechX status is a standard that all Lavendon Access Services (Lavendon UK) depots are working towards. So far eight depots have successfully passed through the TechX process, with another 10 currently working towards accreditation. TechX is now also being rolled out across Lavendon’s international locations.

The annual re-audit takes a full day to ensure standards are being maintained, with the original TechX process taking between 12 to 20 weeks to achieve.

Steve Tingey, Panther Luton’s workshop foreman said: “Since the introduction of the TechX programme, I have seen real gains in cost controls, working practices, the working environment, wastage, and importantly customer satisfaction. Teamwork has been the key element in us retaining the TechX status, and is something that we are all incredibly proud of.”
