New improved Panda crane
Australian Crane and Machinery (ACM) has launched a new 20 tonne articulated mobile all-terrain crane, the Panda ARC-20.
The new crane is the result of the joint venture with XCMG, one of China’s largest machinery manufacturers and builds on the experience and feedback from earlier models that the two companies have worked on.

The Panda ARC-20 has a travel speed of 80 kph and includes components from major manufacturers such as Cummins Engines, Allison Transmissions, Meritor Axles, ZF Sub-Transmissions and Vickers Hydraulics to ensure a reliable high quality machine.
ACM general manager, Phil Chadwick said: "This is an updated and improved version of pick and carry crane that has been very popular within the crane, mining and construction industries. Competition in this style crane has not been available for a number of years and by bringing the Panda onto the market we are confident that we will attract a great deal of interest."
