JCB and Volvo team up
JCB and Volvo Construction have entered into a framework agreement under which they will co-operate on the engineering and manufacturing of skid steer and compact tracked loader products for distribution under their respective brands and through their respective distributor networks.
It is envisaged that the first mono boom Volvo branded machines will go into production at JCB’s Savannah, Georgia facility by the end of 2010. Volvo will then gradually transfer production of its skid steer loader model from its Pederneiras facility in Brazil.
