How do you use a ladder?
Spotted at Los Angeles International airport in California, a man using a step ladder to reach the large jet engine on a Boeing 747, but not in the normal
manner.
He has turned it on its side and is using it as a precarious step, not something you expect on a multi-million dollar aircraft.

Not quite although all the key principles are there, of that there is no doubt, it does deserve to be highlighted for its misguided methods of working at height.

Yes, but seriously: I would not want to fly on this plane. Jet engines are "full" and you need to be able to reach into them to be able to accurately and safely work on them. A minor mistake will lead to a major tragedy eg a bolt falling into the rotors. A correct system of access would allow the engineer to reach into, and see, the whole engine. This would minimise the risks associated with stretching out to work on a component that is just out of reach and not really visible. This is a Death Wish - but relates to the passengers and crew rather than the perpetrator who has not been given the right equipment.
