New Valla dealer in Russia
Valla has appointed Vertex as its new distributor for Russia. The company has previously sold its pick & carry cranes through sales and rental company LTECH, while Vertex has also sold JMG cranes in Russia.
A statement from Valla said: “We are excited that Vertex, will be our new dealer for the Russian Federation, it is well-equipped to tackle the market commercially and technically, and is the right partner to develop the market for both our diesel and our electric cranes. We look forward to a mutually successful collaboration.”
Vertex was established just over a year ago by two ex LTECH employees Sergey Chunin and, Dmitry Pankin in partnership with commercial vehicle manufacturer ST Nizhegorodets. The company also distributes Maber mast climbers and hoists, locally mounted Oil & Steel platforms. It has also sold Niftylift booms lifts.
Vertikal Comment
There has been a good deal of rivalry between LTECH and Vertex, as might be expected, and there is more to Valla's decision to switch than the release suggests. Vertex managed to convert ZF from Valla to JMG - and would like to retain access to the JMG product line, however that is unlikely.
There have been suggestions over the summer that LTECH was struggling to survive, however the company's representatives have vigorously denied such reports, and assured us that it is business as usual.
However this shift by Valla will not help thaw relations between the two distributors.
Vertex
Company Vertex officially announces that Sergey Chunin cannot be related to our company anymore.
SARA JMG
JMG Cranes would like to express its formal position: our company is not involved in this issue and officially would like to ask to all the involved parts, not to be mentioned without formal agreement because it makes confusion on the market.
Should you not comply, JMG Cranes will feel free to start any legal action in order to protect its rights.
