Spot that crane

A reader has sent us in an unidentified photograph of a crane in what looks like a US military application?

We have scratched our heads and think it might be a 1940’s Hyster or Austin Western but to be honest we are stumped and hope that one of you might be able to shed some light on the identity of this early industrial type crane..

The mystery crane

There are some logos on the boom but the photo was not clear enough to make anything out.
