Kulawik takes over at Ruthmann
Rolf Kulawik has been appointed as the new chief executive of German truck mounted lift manufacturer Ruthmann.
The appointment, which is effective immediately, follows the departure of owner Heinrich Winkelmann and Heinz-Jürgen Buss to head up the Winkelmann Group, following the death of Winkelmann’s father last month.

As chief executive Kulawik will be supported by Uwe Stapper and Uwe Strotmann with the three forming a senior management team.
Kulawik moved to Ruthmann from Wumag in July 2009 to head up Ruthmann’s world-wide service operations, including the company’s service stations in Germany and Austria. His brother Stephan remained at Wumag – now Palfinger Platforms – where he is International sales & marketing director.

The Winkelmann Group employs 2,300 with revenues of almost €400 million and is a supplier to the international automotive industry and heat engineering industries.
Heinrich Winkelmann has taken over the day to day management of the company, assisted by Buss, who has served as managing partner of Ruthmann 2003. The two will remain as shareholders of Ruthmann.
