25 year jamboree
UK based access rental company Facelift is holding a massive party later this month to celebrate the achievement of 25 years in business.
The company is one of the oldest, if not THE oldest, independent powered access rental company in the UK and managing director Gordon Leicester is keen to share the milestone with all those who may have played a part in the company’s success by organising a massive event at the Hickstead show jumping grounds close to the company’s headquarters in southern England.

The celebrations on Saturday July 17th will include an opportunity to take a closer look at the company’s wide range of aerial lifts, including many specialist pieces of equipment. The latest products from some of the leading manufactures including Bronto and Ascendant truck mounted lifts, Skyjack scissors and Niftylift’s advanced 4x4 boom lift the HR21, fitted with the SiOPS safety system.
The event will also focus heavily on family and fun and includes an ‘It’s a Knockout’ competition with 18 teams competing for a trophy. In addition to several Facelift teams we do know that both Niftylift and Skyjack have entered a team.
There will also be an opportunity for employees, customers and even competitors to pelt the Facelift senior managers, including Gordon Leicester, Paul Standing operations director, Richard Marchant financial director and possibly even commercial director Frank Page, with wet sponges or custard pies as they take turns in the stocks.
