Harsco announces CEO Infrastructure

Harsco has appointed Ivor Harrington of Fluor as the chief executive of Harsco Infrastructure which comprises the businesses of SGB, Hünnebeck and Patent Scaffold and specialises in access equipment and formwork..

Harrington, 45, a British national, joins Harsco from Fluor, the US based international engineering contractor where he was most recently senior vice president of its chemicals Business. Prior to that, he led the turnaround of Fluor’s manufacturing and life sciences business line and has held senior positions in global sales, marketing and strategic planning within Fluor’s operations maintenance and global services group.

He will be based at Harsco’s headquarters in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania reporting to chief executive Salvatore D. Fazzolari.

Fazzolari said: “Following on to our executive management announcement last week, Ivor’s appointment completes one of the final key seats in building the next generation of Harsco leadership to take our business forward. His broad global leadership credentials and first-hand experience driving sustainable turnarounds in business performance fit perfectly with our expectations for the Harsco Infrastructure group.”
