Suicidal scissor lift

Sent to us by a reader in the USA is a classic Death Wish involving a self-propelled scissor lift.

We have no information on this one except that which can be gleaned from the photograph. Our correspondent came across it on the internet, so we don’t even know when it occurred or where.

Work is clearly being done to the sign of a Sago Internet Business Center, we do know that Sago has locations in Tampa and Miami in Florida and near Atlanta Georgia.

A quick and dirty solution that could so easily end in tears

The electric self-propelled scissor lift – an older 19ft Snorkel? is clearly not up to the job in terms of height, so it is being given a boost by a relatively small cushion tyred fork lift truck.

In addition to the obvious dangers of this lot going over, the rear gate is open so any slip by the fork truck driver could send the man in the lift out the back door.
Most definitely a Death Wish and one that brings to mind a classic one from the past involving an RT scissor lift and large fork truck.
