D&G found guilty
D&G Hoist and Crane Hire of Malaga, near Perth Western Australia has been found guilty of causing the death of a worker by failing to provide and maintain a safe workplace.
Luke Aaron Murrie, 22, died after he was hit by a 375kg section of crane mast that fell from a load being lifted, in the 2007 accident.
Operations director David Keating and managing director Gino Luigi Decesare were also found guilty last week in the Perth Magistrates court.
The penalty is expected to be handed down in February.
