ES Platforms tender
The balance of the UK based ES Access Platforms fleet will be sold via public tender by Charterfields on February 23rd
ES Access went into administration late last year and was closed for business at the same time. The machines included in this sale include: Truck mounted lifts, under bridge inspection units, Specialist vehicle mounted platforms, booms and scissor lifts.

Viewing will be next week on Tuesday 15th, Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th February 2011 between 10:00 and 15:30 at Shadon Way, Portobello, Birtley, County Durham, DH3 2SW. Deadline for receipt of tenders is 12 noon Wednesday 23rd February.

A portion of the fleet has already been sold, this tender is intended to sell of the remainder as part of the liquidation of the company’s assets.
Do not be fooled by the detail in Charterfields Tender in relation to the boom on the small Unimog shown in the picture. It is a 1990/91 Multitel ALU 16 boom. Certainly testament to Multitel quality but not the 2004 boom claimed in the Tender Document. We advised Charterfields of this fact in relation to their original tender but they chose to ignore us. The boom was remounted on to the Unimog by ES Access in 2004. The boom was originally on a Dodge 50 series chassis cab and was ex-David Meek.
