VR Track signs with Ramirent

Finland’s largest rail contractor VR Track has signed a two year rental supply agreement with Ramirent.

VR Track carries out a wide range of services including involvement in infrastructure projects that are unrelated to railways. VR Track’s customers include the government, municipalities, harbours and companies.

Juha Kajander, category manager at VR Track said: “We implement our projects according to top-class expertise by using the newest technology and special equipment. In addition to our own equipment, the cooperation with Ramirent helps us to efficiently secure the availability of top-class equipment. This way we can concentrate on our core skills and improve our competitiveness.”

Kyösti Sandell, sales manager (Southern Finland) for Ramirent added: “We are extremely pleased with this agreement, in which VR Track concentrates its renting needs in the hands of Ramirent. The cooperation with VR Track strengthens our position in the customer sectors in which we wish to expand our operations".
Ramirent is the leading rental company in Finland with revenues in the country of €137 million from 84 locations.
