Access Link meets
The UK’s Access link, the association of independent rental companies held its Spring meeting on Wednesday
The Link, now in its 12th year held its spring meeting in Coventry on Wednesday March 23rd with a record attendance of 28 reporting a good start to 2011.
The meeting was hosted by Independent Parts and Service (IPS) which took the opportunity to present an update on its growing facilities and services.
The recent takeover of Dorset based High Level Platforms by the Kimberly group caused a need for a new member for that area and Facelift's Southampton depot was selected from two candidates.
The Access Link has a track record of seeking ways to raise standards and has been a champion of IPAF Rental + since it was announced. The meeting concluded with an award for the winner of an internal satisfaction survey. This is aimed to help raise member standards to new levels. Each member scored each of their fellow members on such matters as fleet quality, availability, hire staff, service, administration detail etc…- in all 18 subjects.
