CTE boosts capacity on Zed20CH

CTE will show a new higher capacity Zed 20CH at Apex next week – the Zed 20CHS with its new outrigger concept.

The CHS model will offer an extra 50 kg of unrestricted platform capacity at 250kg, this is made possible by the new, wider stance out and down outrigger design, fist seen on the company’s 26 metre ZED 26 JH.

The new CTE Zed 20CHS

The concept links the vertical jacks to a set of short stubby outrigger beams pulling them out as the jacks go down so that the unit has an overall width when extended of 2.93 metres. The larger footprint provides the additional stability and thus platform capacity.
