Palfinger - photos of new lifts

Palfinger has released photos of the two new truck mounted lifts that it is unveiling at APEX today – the 21 metre P 210BK and 30 metre P300KS.

The 21 metre Palfinger P210BK

It has also released a few, previously undisclosed details on the 30 metre, 7.5 tonne P300KS, which it says sets a new standard for compact dimensions on this size of lift. The new unit is the first Palfinger designed boom lift to incorporate the Bison KS counter slew technology. The new lift is said to combine the advantages of the Wumag WT and the Bison TKA KS series.

The unique design manages to keep the overall length down to 7.5 metres on a three metre wheelbase truck, while the counter slewing system combined with a four telescopic boom allows the machine to work easily within a single road lane. The counterweight never protrudes beyond the machines width and the outriggers are infinitely variable.

The new Palfinger P 300KS

The new unit also has a new premium control panel that also provides the operator with all the necessary information regarding the operating conditions of the platform and the truck to the operator. More on these machines in our APEX review in next month’s APEX review.
