Boels orders 310 Niftylift booms

Netherlands based Boels Verhuur has ordered 310 Niftylift aerial lifts, following last year’s order for 100 units, the delivery of which has recently been completed.

The new lifts, which have been ordered through Niftylift’s Dutch distributor Eurosupply, include both trailer lifts and self-propelled Height Rider models. The units will be supplied by Eurosupply ‘rental ready’ to the nominated Boels’ depots.

The senior buyer at Sittard based Boels -Ton Brockbernd said: “We open new depots in Europe every two weeks. We are an A-brand company and want to work with top level equipment brands. Eurosupply is taking care of the delivery of the machines for us in the Benelux-countries and has provided an excellent level of service and support, including maintenance, repair and inspection. The co-operation works excellently and consequently this is the third big order within three years.”

“The HR12 self-propelled articulated boom lift along with the 120 T and 170 trailer mounted platforms are not only popular with maintenance companies, municipalities, painters and window cleaners, but also with private people who are looking for a safe working place at height. The 21 metre 210 trailer lift is also a nice extension to our current rental fleet.”

Boels has been buying Niftylift for more than 20 year. Daan van de Poel the owner of Eurosupply said: “In 2008 Boels purchased 190 Niftylift aerial work platforms. In 2010 another 100 units have been supplied. It is great that we again can add 310 machines to the existing rental fleet of a well-known company like Boels, with 250 depots in 8 different countries, especially at this time."
