Management change at Zooom Germany

Fred Ostermeyer, the geshaftsführer of Zooom Germany the troubled Lavendon affiliate, has left the company to persue other interests. Kevin Appleton, the parent group’s Chief Executive has stepped into the role on a temporary basis.

Zooom Germany recently made severe cutbacks to its overheads in Germany, reducing the number of depots from 48 to 24 and placing over 1,250 units into storage or transferring them to other markets, in a bid to remove excess capacity from the German aerial lift market.
