First Liebherr for PP
UK based PP Engineering Crane Hire has taken delivery of its first Liebherr crane, a 70 tonne LTM1070-4.2 All Terrain.
The family-owned company is headquartered in Rotherham and runs a fleet of mobile cranes with capacities from 12 to 220 tonnes. The company was established 30 years ago by Philip Patching as a crane service and repair business, moving into crane rental a short time later.

Patching whose wife, daughters brother and nephews all work for the company, said: "We decided to buy our first Liebherr crane having looked hard at the market and heard numerous recommendations. We are extremely pleased with our new addition and very impressed with the build quality, technology and performance right through the chart".
The new crane is equipped with a 50 metre main boom, 9.5 to 17 metre bi-fold swingaway extension with hydraulic luffing from 0 to 60 degrees and a 3.2 metre assembly jib a cross hook which is a handy addition in jobs with restricted overhead clearance.
