Manitou UK drives for Marie Curie
Manitou UK has supported a ladies driving challenge, raising £1,000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care. A total of around 120 ladies participated in the event, held at Bovington Camp in Dorset.
A team of five Manitou ladies took part, driving various vehicles, including fire engines, buses and wartime vehicles. The vehciles were divided into groups or zones, the challenge was to drive at least one vehicle from each zone. Manitou also supplied two aerial work platforms - a 150TP and a 160ATJ – for the driving challenges.
