Custom delivery truck for Rapid

UK based rental company Rapid Platforms has invested in a new custom designed Scania 26T aerial lift delivery truck.

The vehicle body was “created” for the company by Andover Trailers and is not only one of the lightest on the market, but has been built specifically to make the loading and unloading of access equipment as safe and simple as possible.

Rapid Platform’s transport manager Paul Moss said: “We considered a number of chassis in the hunt for the perfect truck, but choosing Scania was an easy decision. They have an excellent reputation and with a dealer minutes away from our depot, we will now be able to schedule services and inspections overnight to reduce ‘down time’ and significantly improve our carbon footprint.”
