UK Hire show
The UK's Executive Hire Show opened today in a cold and frosty Coventry, with traffic gathering pace during the day and most lifting and access stands seeing good visitor numbers.
Among them Multitel distributor Access Industries, with its latest SMX spider lifts - Niftylift, Power Tower, CML Construction Supplies, Teupen distributor Ranger, Access Platform Sales, Russon Access, Power Lift and Pop Up which devoted most of its stand to Altrex ladders and towers.

the Sumner stand
Sumner lift displayed its new Series 2416 contractor lift, while Euro Towers showed off a new Step Fold Podium and Lyte a new scaffold bridge for towers
Youngman had a one-piece adjustable folding work platform and a mobile podium, two brand new ladders in the MegaStep range and telescopic platform ladders. The company also showed a solar powered trailer mounted message sign and new LED lighting tower

The Pop Up Altrex stand
Software companies - InspHire, MCS, Jaama and Higher Concept and the solicitors Else all had a good first day and seemed the busiest out of all the stands. Gantic chargers were in the new upstairs area- new recruit Lynn Higgins was helping man the stand, she will be running the UK operation from its Coalville base.
