McGovern buys another Terex AT
Nottinghamshire, UK-based McGovern Crane Hire has purchased a Terex AC100-4L which brings its number of Terex cranes in its fleet to 10.
The crane features a new-style cab, Euro IIIB/Tier 4 engines with the ad-blue emission control system and an easy rigging ballast system - an option designed specifically for the UK market.

With a 59.4 metre main boom and 19 metre fly jib - with 20 and 40 degree offsets - the AC100-4L has a maximum system length of more than 78 metres.
“We bought our first Terex in 2006 and have been loyal to the terex brand for many years,” said director Eddie McGovern. “All our Terex cranes have performed well, been extremely reliably and have met, and in many cases exceeded, our expectations.”
“When the time came to replace our existing 50 metre Terex AC100-4, the new longer boom version seemed the natural and logical choice. It adds versatility to the fleet and is already showing its capabilities on a leisure centre complex in the Midlands.”
McGovern’s Terex cranes range from 40 to 200 tonnes. A new AC40 City crane is already on order for delivery later in the year.
