First Multitel MJ320 in UK at Vertikal Days

The first Multitel 32 metre MJ320 sold in the UK will be on show at Vertikal Days this week. The platform sold to Hoistline in the Isle of Man will replace a 23 year old Multitel TJ31.

The new unit is mounted on a Mercedes Axor chassis and equipped with fully variable outrigger jacking, automatic outrigger levelling, an on board computer to show height, outreach and available outreach envelope remaining, as well as other information.

Multitel MJ320

The MJ320, which features a four section main boom and three section telescopic jib, the Hoistline unit will have 320Kg platform capacity with up to 23 metres of outreach, or 24.5 metres with 120Kg.

Mike Swales managing director of Hoistline said: “The Multitel has given us fantastic service, but the old girl is now 23 years old now so we thought a replacement was appropriate. The MJ320 we could say just came along at the ideal time, when we saw it we knew that this was the answer.”

Melvyn Else managing director of Access Industries Multitel’s UK distributor added: “The MJ320 is an ideal replacement for some of the older 34 metre platforms and an ideal replacement for an ageing Multitel TJ31.”
