The crane has been tied down, but will be tricky to recover in such a remote location
The 120 tonne crane was working on the construction of the community's small craft harbour when it went over. It was tied down after the overturn, to prevent it slipping completely into the water, but it could be tricky to recover in such a remote location.
As a result it may now delay the completion and opening of the three year harbour project due to open later this month.
