Changes at Manitowoc

The Manitowoc crane group is to lose two of its senior managers, with the departure of Steve Cripe, Senior Vice president and CFO of Manitowoc crane group and Erik Devautour, currently running the Wilhelmshaven mobile crane facility in Germany.

Steve Cripe, is departing to “pursue other interests” while Erik Devautour, will leave at the end of May to join Poclain. Devautour joined Potain in 2002 and was responsible for manufacturing, based at its Ecully facility in France.

At the end of 2004, he stepped in to replace Lothar Hahn as Geschäftsführer for Deutsche Grove GmbH.

It is understood that Mme Pommerey CFO at Potain, will replace Devautour while a replacement is sought.

Marketing manager Malcolm Early has also announced that he will shortly be leaving to take up a new position with a non competitive manufacturer.

At this point no public confirmation has been made by Manitowoc, our information is based on internal announcements.
