Titan 60S goes into production

MEC has started production of its new 60ft Titan 60S big deck boom lift which offers 1,350kg platform capacity.

The first production unit of the new MEC Titan 60S

The new lift uses the same platform as the existing 40ft model but the lift is larger and boasts a four section heavy duty boom. Maximum working height is 20.3 metres, while forward reach is a healthy 14.6 metres when stabilisers are set, plus three metres to the rear.

The 60ft Titan has a set of rear stabilisers as well as the normal front ones

Maximum drive height is 12.2 metres while the hefty machine has 40 percent gradeability, four wheel drive and four wheel steer. One big advantage of the telescopic lift mechanism is that the platform closed height is just two metres.

The massive machine has a forward reach of up to 14 metres

The first production machines have been pre-sold and will begin shipping in December.
