Bronto expands UK service network
Truck mounted lift manufacturer Bronto Skylift has expanded its UK service network with the appointment of Central Platform Services (CPS).
Located just south of Pontefract, South Yorkshire, CPS will provide services which range from routine servicing to complete overhauls and remounting. Operating as Bronto’s service partner in the north of the UK, Thame based repair and service company RE Foster will cover the south.
Bronto said: “As the Bronto population in the UK has been growing in recent times it is important that we have the right infrastructure in place to attend to service issues in a professional manner. This requires a special set of skills that are often difficult to find. CPS has been over to the factory and attended service training schools and we are now very pleased to formally announce a partnership.”

Co-owner John Burton added: “At CPS we are constantly striving for good standard maintenance for hire companies and end user equipment. With our new spray booth and overhead crane facilities we can now offer a complete service for all of our customers both large and small.”
Established in 2008 Central Platform Services has recently moved its premises to a larger site just south of Pontefract. Owned and run by John and Neil Burton - who have over 40 years combined experience - the company provides after sales service and inspection as well training, refurbishments and sales.
