Rapid receives S38XDT

UK based access rental company Rapid Platforms has taken delivery of a 38 metre Bronto S38XDT truck mounted platform.

Rapid Platform’s managing direct Alistair Jordan travelled to Finland this week to take delivery of the machine which was ordered at Vertikal Days last June. The S38XDT, mounted on a two axle Volvo truck, offers a 700kg maximum platform capacity and an outreach of up to 21 metres.

Jordan said: “The S38XDT is a very compact machine and ideal for work in and around London. Bronto’s extensive market expertise coupled with a positive and longstanding working relationship with Ian James also contributed to the purchase.”

Rapid is also expecting to take delivery of a 32 metre Palfinger Citystar P320 truck mounted platform tomorrow. The P320’s telescopic boom, telescopic jib provides 25.5 metres of outreach and up to 700kgs platform capacity with zero tail swing.
