Growth steady at Speedy

UK rental company Speedy Hire has issued a third quarter trading statement with revenues up 2.2 percent

Revenues for the nine months to the 12th of February were up 2.2 percent on a like for like basis without the site accommodation business which it sold last year and prior to any fleet sales. Revenues at the fledgling international business jumped 63 percent in the same period.

Looking at the third quarter, revenues in the UK and Ireland were up two percent, while the international division grew by 37 percent. At the same time the company says that margins and returns have continued to improve across the group.

Finally Speedy says that given how the fourth quarter has started it is fully confident that it will meet its expectations for the full financial year.
