Roman platforms

Italian building and restoration company Baiocco has taken delivery of a new 32 metre Socage DAJ332 Forste truck mounted lift, along with a 24 metre DA324, following a deal concluded at SAIE last year. The lifts have been acquired for the company’s own use and to rent out to other users.

Mounted on a 7.5 tonne truck the DAJ332 Forste has a double sigma type riser and an articulating jib with an articulation range from 90 degrees below horizontal to 15 degrees above. The lift offers an outreach of up to 19 metres with a maximum platform capacity of 280kg.

The 24 metre DA324 is mounted on a 3.5 tonne truck and offers an outreach of 11 metres with a maximum platform capacity of 225kg.

Socage said: “These two platforms will increase Baiocco’s range and help it to expand its presence in the market. Articulated booms are particularly suitable for building work because of their up and over versatility allowing the operator to overcome obstacles.”
