Geda expands into Turkey

Geda Major will be responsible for servicing the regional markets and provide better support to existing partnerships, while creating new distribution networks, its proximity to Russia played a crucial role in its location.

The company also announced that it will produce some components and products for local requirements in Turkey as well as importing its mainstream products from Germany. The new subsidiary will be run by Orhan Demirel.

Geda managing director Johann Sailer said: “The establishment of Geda Major in Istanbul will ensure that we are now very well placed to further improve our customer service and support in this region. People can now contact our local experts directly, we can travel to customer sites very quickly and provide targeted responses to market requirements.”
