Suspended platform buckles
Two men working on the maintenance of a highly customised suspended window cleaning platform were left stranded on Thursday when the large V-shaped platform on the Hearst building appeared to have buckled.

The custom designed suspended platform looks to have buckled
Fire fighters cut a hole in one of the building’s windows on the 44th floor of the tower and pulled the men to safety. The rescue took around an hour and a half, but the two were relaxed about their fate and waited calmly while the fire fighters did their thing.
The Hearst Tower is the world headquarters of the Hearst Corporation and the first green high-rise office building in the city
