Crane causes port fatality.

A 40 year old woman working at the port of Tacoma in Washington, USA, was crushed by a shipping container that fell from a ship during unloading. The dock crane was unloading a ship at the port, when it accidentally knocked an empty container off of the ship and onto the quay as the longshorewoman was passing on her way to a break..

The local police said that for some reason, the crane picked up a larger number of containers than usual and that knocked the empty container off the ship.
