Crane conference closes street in Hobart
The Crane Industry Council of Australia’s (CICA) annual conference was held this year in Hobart, Tasmania, however the venue – the Hotel Grand Chancellor – created a challenge as to where to position the usual outdoor crane exhibit.
Thanks to the support of the Hobart Council and Business Events Tasmania, CICA was given permission to close down Hunter Street, alongside the historic wharf area in order to create a display space for 16 mobile cranes.
