Fatal loader crane incident
A loader crane operator was electrocuted while unloading steel rods from a truck in the Sarawak region of Malaysia on Friday.
Loi Ming Liong, 37, was killed on the spot after the boom of his articulated crane touched live overhead power lines. Another truck loaded with reinforcing bars had reversed into the site, but got stuck in the sand, blocking traffic. The deceased was sent to the site to unload the jammed truck, in order to help it free itself.
