Traditional wood scaffold

Spotted by a reader in Tunisia this week a traditional wood scaffold going up on a new build apartment block in Yasmin Hammamet.

While looking very primitive and shaky, it is at least well tied in! It is the structure which is not in place of course – assuming more is to come - that will determine if this is just a traditional method or a Death Wish.

One thing worth saying is that if this was built out properly it probably would be a good deal safer than many steel and alloy scaffolds Death Wish examples that some cowboy builders throw up in Europe or the US.
