ARA opens in Orlando

The American Rental Association Rental Show opened yesterday in Orlando to large queues at registration.
Most exhibitors were pleased with the early traffic and deals were being done. The following photos are just a glimpse of the show and we will try and update later in the week.

Three special units on the Skyjack stand, (L-R) the 100,000th SJ3219 19ft scissor lift, the oldest working Skyjack discovered - a 29 year old SJ006-10 from Kraner Electric located near the factory, and the new scissor the company won in Quest 2013


Skyjack ended its Quest to find the oldest working Skyjack scissor lift at the show with the announcement that the winner is a 1985 SJ006-10 owned by Kraner Electric, based just two blocks from the manufacturer’s plant in Guelph, Ontario.

The company won a new 19ft scissor lift but also plans to continue to use its 29 year old unit. It also presented the 100,000th SJIII3219 19ft scissor lift to Chicago based Metrolift which ordered the unit.
