Bracht buy Ormig truck crane

Franz Bracht of Erwitte, Germany, has taken delivery of a new 80 tonne capacity Ormig 804AC, crane mounted on a MAN TGA 41.4H0 four axle 8x4x4 commercial tractor unit.

The Ormig 840AC is compact and fast with low axle weights

The total weight of the tractor unit complete with its fully equipped 80 tonne crane is only 32 tonnes.
The benefits of the crane is that it can tow a four axle trailer to site with boom or jib sections and counterweight, and then once there be used as the erection crane.
Its towing capability is not just a sideline job, Ormig says that it will pull up to 140 tonnes!

The Ormig 840AC, towing a trailer load of lattice crane components

With its 32 tonne GVW, compact dimensions low axle weights and high speed it can travel in most European countries without any special permits.
It comes with a 33 metrre six section main boom and two stage telescopic swingaway that offsets by up to 30 degrees and provides a maximum tip height of 48 metres.
