Senior appointments at Manitou
Manitou has announced key appointments for its previously announced restructuring which creates three separate divisions -

Fernand Mira, currently vice president of the Ancenis product unit, has been appointed president of the new Material Handling and Access division, which combines the industrial division – largely fork trucks - with the telehandler and access division.

Fernand Mira
Mira began his career with Peugeot and Panhard defence in Argentina, joining Manitou in 1990 as export service engineer, moving on the service manager before heading to China as general manager of Manitou operations in the country, returning to France as quality manager before taking up his current position in 2011.

Maxime Deroch
Maxime Deroch, vice president of marketing has been appointed president of the Service & Solutions Division. Previously with Elf and Total, both in France and abroad, he joined Manitou in 2003 to set up the audit and internal control department, before assuming the functions of project manager and vice president corporate development.
Dan Miller continues as president of the Compact Equipment division which is largely US based and covers the Gehl branded products.

Dan Miller
Deputy chief financial officer Pierre-Yves Malgogne has been appointed vice president finance reporting to chief financial officer Hervé Rochet. Having worked in various roles with the Valeo group. He joined Manitou in 2007 to fulfil a variety of financial responsibilities.
Following these changes – effective July 1st - the Executive Committee will comprise the following senior managers:
-Chief executive - Michel Denis
-Chief financial officer - Hervé Rochet
-President, MHA division - Fernand Mira
-President, CE division - Dan Miller
-President, S&S division - Maxime Deroch
-Vice president sales & marketing - François F. Piffard
-Vice president human resources - Jérôme Tertrais
