Quick Shift furniture lift available

Time International/Versalift has added a hydraulic furniture lift to its range of compatible Quick Shift equipment.

The lift, a Böcker Simply HD 21/1-5, has a maximum capacity of 250kg and lift height of between 5.65 and 21.10 metres using a hydraulic extendible rail system operated from the side of the rear pick-up bed. The whole lift can slew a total of 200 degrees - 100 degrees in either direction from the transport position - and requires no outriggers as the vehicle uses Time’s axle locking system reducing the space and time needed to set up the lift.

The transport length is just 350mm longer than the pick-up and transport height is 2.7 metres. Total weight of the installation is less than three tonnes regardless of the choice of pick-up truck.

The furniture lift is attached to a special mounting frame that is connected to the Quick Shift system and according to Time, attaching the lift takes no more than 15 minutes using an overhead crane or a forklift truck. It can be installed on a VW Amarok, Ford Ranger or Isuzu D-Max.

Earlier this year, Time International launched the Quick Shift system allowing a pick-up truck to change an access platform with a new piece of equipment in a few minutes enabling rental companies to use one vehicle for multiple functions. The standard equipment for the Time Quick Shift system is an access platform with 9, 11 or 14 metres of working height.
