Two Liebherr’s for Ireland

Limerick-based crane rental company BCS Crane Hire has taken delivery of a 55 tonne Liebherr LTM 1055-3.2 and a 200 tonne Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1 All Terrain crane.

The LTM 1055-3.2 has all wheel drive and steer, a five-section 40 metre main boom and a 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, which can be offset by 0, 20, and 40 degrees, providing a maximum on board under-hook-height of 56 metres. The LTM 1200-5.1 has a 72 metre main boom and when combined with its bi-fold swingaway extension provides a maximum height under hook of 98 metres. It can also lift 1,000kg at a 78 metre radius.

BCS managing director Bill Cussen said: “Along with our existing 90 tonne machine, also from Liebherr, the two new cranes allow us to offer our customers a comprehensive crane hire service.”
