Skyjack kicks off breast cancer month
Skyjack is supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October by donating a portion of its revenues from boom sales, and selling limited edition T-shirts.
Funds raised will go to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, the largest non-government funder of breast cancer research in Canada. In 2012 the foundation made 43 grants totalling $9.9 million to support breast cancer research across Ontario.

Skyjack president Brad Boehler said: “Several Skyjack employees have been impacted by breast cancer and have fundraised money for several years, now we’d like to help them raise even more for a great cause. From now through October 31st, Skyjack is aiming to raise $10,000 for the foundation.”
In addition to donating a portion of proceeds from all boom sales in October, the company will also be delivering all of its boom lifts with a pink ribbon. The company kicked off its campaign yesterday by welcoming visitors to its Guelph plant with an arch made up of two pink SJ63 AJ articulating booms.
Skyjack T-shirts will be available on its website:
