Advanced appoints sales manager
UK based rental company Advanced Access Platforms has appointed Alec Ullmer as its national sales manager.
Ullmer has spent the past 11 years with AFI Uplift, most recently as southern regional operations manager, having previously worked in various managerial roles for Nationwide Platforms. He will be responsible for expanding the company’s low level platform fleet into London, whilst generating new accounts for Advanced Access and members of the Access Link.
Advanced Access’ major projects manager Matt Woolman said: “There are some exciting major projects in London at present, which are utilising lots of time, energy and resources - some set to be going for four years or more. The decision was made to bring into the management team a national sales manager who can keep local sales improving whilst also looking for national accounts that can be kept locally through our partners and friends in the Link.”

Advanced Access owner John Corcoran added: “It is a real statement for Advanced Access to have such knowledgeable keen managers that want to work for a local independent company where they feel their customers will have a more user friendly approach and service.”
The company has also confirmed a number of orders for 2015, including 32 Skyjack electric scissors, 15 five metre Hy-Brid push around lifts, 11 Niftylift boom lifts and eight 10 metre Manitou 100VJR mast booms. It has also renewed its accreditations with Safe Contractor, Fors, IPAF rental plus and Cross Rail.
