RK-Cramo merger confirmed

The deal between Rakentajain Konevuokraamo Oyj (RK) and Cramo Holding has now been approved by all shareholders and all necessary changes to the capital structures notified to the Helsinki stock exchange.

At an extraordinary General meeting yesterday a number of new directors were voted onto the RK board, reflecting the change in ownership of the larger company.

They are:

Pekka Heusala, born 1946
Eino Halonen, born 1949
Juhani Nurminen, born 1939
Hannu Krogerus, born 1949
Phil van Haarlem, born 1944
Gunnar Glifberg, born 1943
Stig Gustavson, born 1945.

At the same meeting Pekka Heusala was elected as Chairman of the Board

Cramo Holding is now effectively a wholly owned subsidiary of RK. The combined business is the fifth largest rental company in Europe.

The changes to RK,s listing on the stock exchange will be made on January 9th.
